Welcoming the Commonwealth Games 2010 Opening Ceremony with a Big Bang

New Delhi, India hosts this year’s Commonwealth Games for 2010 at Doordarshan.  Commonwealth Games is internationally a sporting event with 54 participating countries under the Commonwealth of Nations.  The Common Wealth Games happens every four years.  The games here focus more on the sports that these countries have in common such as rugby, netball and lawn bowls.

This year, the Common Wealth Games 2010 (CWG) is expecting thousands of athletes from all over the world to be in the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony for 2010 welcoming the athletic sporting event with a Big Bang!

Delhi has already prioritized security over the opening ceremony as patrols, snipers and helicopters are in position in preparation for a very big opening show.  You can watch the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony on your respective TV cable providers and different online channels.
