Virginia Tech Football vs Boise State Football Results – It is a battle between two heavy weights the ranked number 3, Boise State and the ranked number 10 Virginia Tech. It could have been a game for the Virginia Tech Hookies but a late game touchdown at 1:14 made the difference and Boise State Broncos take the win, 30-33.

The scoring frenzy of Virginia Tech continued in the third quarter with two touchdowns at 6:48 and 2:52 bring the Virginia Tech to lead the match at 27-26. The lone touchdown from Boise State happened at 5:50 when D.J. Harper rushed to the right for 71 yard gain.
The fourth quarter is forming up to be another quarter for Virginia Tech as Chris Hazley kicked a 34-yard field goal, to widen the lead of Virginia Tech, 30-26. The lead however was snatched with 1:14 remaining by Boston State after the touchdown when Kellen Moore passed to Austin Pettis down the middle for 13 yard gain (Kyle Brotzman made PAT). The 4th quarter was an even game and looks all for Virginia Tech but indeed the Broncos made a good touchdown to take home the game.
