Raja Bell and the Utah Jazz have just agreed to a three-year deal worth $10 million. This comes at a time when his old nemesis, Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, has expressed publicly that he would like to have Bell in the Lakers lineup.
The Lakers were reportedly dangling a $1.77 million offer for Bell to play with the 2010 NBA season defending champions.
The 33-year old shooting guard Raja Bell is a tough perimeter defender which made him a constant in the side of Kobe Bryant in playoff games.
Raja Bell suited up for the Charlotte Bobcats and Golden State Warriors last season but played only six games due to an injury that required surgery on his wrist. The addition of Bell and former Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Al Jefferson might somehow make up for the losses of Carlos Boozer, Kyle Korver to Chicago and Wesley Matthews to the Portland Trailblazers.
