Few hours from now, the Preliminary Fight Cards of the UFC 111 event will start. It will feature again the best of the best mixed martial arts fighter in the Octagon which will be held live at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, United States.
In this UFC 111 event, two fights are much awaited in the main fight card. In the Welterweight bout, it’s Georges St. Pierre vs. Dan Hardy. Georges St. Pierre will be defending his title as the UFC Welterweight Champion. More commonly known as “GSP”, St. Pierre is a force to reckon with his well rounded skills in mixed martial arts.
Meanwhile, his opponent, Dan Hardy is equally good mixed martial arts fighter. Also known as the “The Outlaw”, Hardy began competing in various professional MMA fights 6 years ago in 2004 in competitions such as Cage Force and Cage Warriors. He is the current Cage Warriors welterweight and light-welterweight champion.
Who do you think will win between Georges St. Pierre and Dan Hardy? Well, based on my predictions, I think that St. Pierre will win this UFC 111 Welterweight fight card. He will be able to defend his reigning Welterweight Championship.
On the other hand, equally exciting match in the UFC 111 main fight card is Frank Mir vs. Shane Carwin. Frank Mir is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and a UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion who is currently ranked number 3 by MMA authority Sherdog.
His opponent, Shane Carwin is another great mixed martial arts fighter who is currently ranked number 9 by Sherdog in the Heavyweight division. Carwin is considered as ‘undefeated’ having finished all his fights in the first half of the first round.
Who do you think will win between Frank Mir and Shane Carwin? Well, my prediction is Shane Carwin will win this UFC 111 match against Frank Mir. It’s mainly because Frank Mir had a motorcycle injury before that caused his femur bone to break. While he may have probably recovered from that incident, his succeeding UFC fights after that showed him to be easily get exhausted and tired.
