In an episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” which is aired on May 13, Robert Pattinson revealed his Hip-Hop dream as a teenager.
“I used to want to be a rapper when I was, like, 14. I grew up watching American movies and stuff.”
As for the overwhelming popularity that has come with the “Twilight” films, Pattinson explained, “It’s a great position to be in because you can walk into a room and everybody’s screaming. It’s not really about you. So, it never really goes to your head and you can kind of participate in it. It’s about the fans themselves. A lot of people, they just like doing Twilight-related things.”
“But Kristen thinks I do the most terrible American accent,” he joked about how his on-screen love interest Kristen Stewart responded to his accent. Then, Kristen replied, “No, no I don’t. — Occasionally, some word will come out, and I’ll be like, ‘We don’t say that!’ ”
On his involvement in the hit movie series, Robert said he couldn’t be more grateful. “It’s a great position to be in, because you can walk into a room and everybody’s screaming,” he gushed. “It’s not really about you. So it never really goes to your head, and you can kind of participate in it. It’s about the fans themselves.”
Meanwhile, costar Taylor Lautner who plays Jacob Black talks about what he is looking for in a girl. “Obviously, loyalty. — Really important to me is somebody who can totally let loose and pretty much be themselves and have fun,” said the actor who was once romantically linked to Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.
