Texas Tech Football vs. SMU Football Scores: NCAA Football 2010 Results – Texas Tech Football team defeated SMU Football in one of the latest matches at NCAA Football 2010. Held at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock Texas, Texas Tech won against SMU Football with a final score of 35-27.

During the first round, Texas Tech took the early lead scoring 7 points as against SMU Football’s score of zero. Taylor Potts passed complete to Lyle Leong for 2 yards for a touchdown and Matt Williams made an extra point completing Texas Tech’s lead.

In the second round, Texas Tech once again led the game scoring 14 points as against SMU Football’s 7 points. That gave Texas Tech a total of 14 points ahead of SMU Football during half time. Taylor Potts once again completed a pass to both to Lyle Leong and Detron Lewis for 6 yards for a touchdown. For the team of SMU Football, Zach Line rushed for 2 yards for a touchdown while Matt Szymanski made an extra point.

In the third round, for the third time, Texas Tech further advanced its lead scoring another 14 points as against SMU Football’s score of 10. The highlights of the third round included Taylor Potts passing complete to Lyle Leong for 4 yards for a touchdown and Eric Stephens rushed for 3 yards for a touchdown for the football team of Texas Tech. Meanwhile, Kyle Padron completed a pass to Cole Beasley for 19 yards for a touchdown and Matt Szymanski made a 24-yard field goal for the team of SMU Football.

In the fourth and final round, things changed and SMU Football took the lead this time scoring 10 points as against Texas Tech’s score of zero. Matt Szymanski’s 61-yard field goal and Kyle Padron’s completed pass to Cole Beasley for 13 yards for a touchdown pushed SMU Football’s score.

With a total score of 35, Texas Tech Football team won the match against SMU Football. Congratulations Texas Tech!
