TCU vs SMU Football Scores and Higlights on NCAA Week 4- The TCU Horned Frogs and Southern Methodist Mustangs goes head to head for the second game of Week 4 of NCAA College Football. The match had been pretty balance during the first and second quarter where TCU and SMU scored 14 and 10 respectively.
The TCU Horned Frogs were barely winning during the first half of the game in an otherwise easy game against SMU. TCU was in fact trailing most of the second quarter until Jeremy Kerley returned the ensuing kickoff 83 yards and then Dalton started making clutch plays instead of mistakes. In the end, the ranked number 4 Horned Frogs win past SMU, 41-24 on Friday night.
“I’m very happy with the win,” Patterson said. “But I’m disappointed with some of the mistakes.”
TCU was scrambling during the second half because it was the first time this season that they have ever trailed, 17-14. The Horned Frogs would however make a full offense comeback and score 21 straight points and are 4-0 for the third straight year.
The TCU vs SMU game attracted a Ford Stadium-record crowd of 35,481. During the game, Andy Dalton threw his 49th career touchdown, tying Max Knacke’s school record.
For TCY it will be their 18th winning streak and 30th win in their last 33 games. Meanwhile for SMU their record stands at 1-30-1 in its last 32 games againt ranked teams. SMU’s opnly win was in 2005 against TCU.
