NBA Leaders Spurs Beat Pistons 100-89

The league-leading San Antonio Spurs have scored another victory on Tuesday night. This time, the Spurs held off the Detroit Pistons for a convincing 100-89 win.

Recent NBA All-Star snub Tony Parker scored 19 points and issued 7 assists to lead San Antonio in production. DeJuan Blair added 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Spurs. Tim Duncan also had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Manu Ginobili played a good all-around game to finish with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Richard Jefferson 11 points as all starters for San Antonio finished with double-digit scores. Matt Bonner returned to the Spurs rotation after suffering a knee injury and contributed 10 points off the bench.

Will Bynum scored 12 points in the fourth quarter to finish with 21 points. His basket with 6:37 left in the fourth put the Pistons within 80-78. From that point on, Ginobili hit two three-point shots while Bonner hit a triple of his own to put the Spurs ahead 89-80.

Greg Monroe had 14 points while Tayshaun Prince had 12 points for the Pistons. Austin Daye and Rodney Stuckey had 10 points each off the bench.

Rondo’s Triple Double Leads Celtics Past Spurs

Rajon Rondo has just come back from an ankle injury. It seems that was the least of his concerns as he led the Boston Celtics to a 105-103 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, currently the team with the best NBA record.

Rondo finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 22 assists to log his career 11th triple-double. Rondo also had a season-high six steals in an awesome display of all-around basketball.

Ray Allen finished with 31 points, hitting 13 of 16 shots. The only lowlight of Allen’s game was when he missed two free throws, probably just the second time in the last twelve months, late in the game that could have easily sealed the win for the Celtics.

Glen Davis has been playing well in place of Kevin Garnett who has been sidelined with a calf injury. Davis had 23 points, making up for the absence of Garnett. Paul Pierce added 18 points and 7 rebounds for Boston.

Manu Ginobili led the Spurs with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Tony Parker and Tim Duncan chipped in 18 points each, Richard Jefferson scored 14 points while reserves Matt Bonner and Gary Neal had 10 points each.

The game between the two top NBA teams was close until the final seconds. Manu Ginobili had the chance to either tie or win the game with a triple but he was blocked by Pierce and Rondo got possession of the ball as the game ended.

Tony Parker Didn’t Have Physical Relationship With Erin Barry

NBA star Tony Parker told People that he is very much aware of the filing of divorce of Eva Longoria.

According to his representative, he stated “Eva and I have been discussing our situation privately,” “I was aware that she would be filing for divorce in Los Angeles.”

Parker denied the report about the rumors that he went to court before Longoria did.

“I did not file for divorce in Texas and did not hire divorce attorneys in either Texas or California,” he says. “We plan to continue to keep our discussions of this matter private.”

According to a source close to Parker that Tony, allegedly linked to his former teammate’s wife Erin Barry, sent text messages to Erin but didn’t have a physical relationship with her.

“They knew each other, sent each other messages,” the source claims. “It was flirtatious, but he never did anything with her.”

Longoria, 35, filed for divorce on Wednesday, then accused Parker, 28, of sending hundreds of text messages to the woman.

Longoria didn’t identify her, but the source says it was Erin Barry, wife of Brent Barry, who played with Parker on the San Antonio Spurs from 2004 to 2008.

Erin Barry Is The Named Third Party Between Longoria and Parker

NBA San Antonio Spurs’ Tony Parker was reported earlier on his extra-marital affairs.

Parker’s wife Eva Longoria found hundreds of text messages from Erin Barry, wife of Parker’s teammare Brent Barry.

“Extra” host Mario Lopez claims Longoria has confirmed to him about her discovery.

Tony Parker not only cheated on Eva Longoria, he cheated with a teammate’s wife.

Rick Barry, father of the former San Antonio Spurs player, has confirmed the news to TMZ today and says he worries Brent will be “devastated” by the news.

Brent were teammates with Parker from 2004-2008. Brent and Erin are going through divorce from Erin Barry. Eva Longoria just recently filed one wherein she cited “irreconcilable differences”.

Rick Barry says “I feel horrible for my son. I’m in shock. I knew [Erin] was moving out of the house soon and SHE was the one that filed for divorce.”

“This is the straw that broke the camel’s back. [Brent] is going to be devastated. I can’t even imagine going through this … the divorce was hard enough.”

We’re guessing Eva Longoria knows the feeling.
