South Park Creators Matt and Trey Warned of Episode 201

South Park fanatics out there are raging as they cannot watch the South Park 201 episode. This particular episode is 6th of the fourteenth season of South Park.

In this South Park Episode 201, the known Muslim Muhammad was portrayed in a role and was part of a scene. However, since Muhammad was considered as a sacred prophet in the religion of Islam, producers decided to censor Muhammad’s face as well as his name all throughout the South Park Episode 201.

In a statement released by a radical Muslim website Revolutionmuslim.com, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone were warned saying: “We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo van Gogh for airing this show.”

Theo van Gogh was a Dutch filmmaker before who was killed by a Muslim extremist for his 2004 short documentary film “Submission” which talks about women, violence, and Islam.

Well, we all have our different views and I think we should respect that. Perhaps these South Park creators should delete anything that has in connection with Muslims and Islam in general before they can be a subject of Jihad.

Times Square bombing connected to South Park?

evolutionMuslim.com posted a warning following the 200th episode of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's "South Park," which included a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad disguised in a bear suit.

Police in New York are investigating whether a car bomb in Times Square was targeted at the makers of the animated television series South Park because of a controversial depiction of the Prophet Muhammad.

The device, which failed to detonate, was left near the offices of Viacom, which broadcasts the provocative cartoon on its Comedy Central network. Last month, a posting on the U.S.-based Revolution Muslim website warned the creators of South Park, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, that they could face violent reprisals after an episode featured Muhammad in a bear suit.

“This vehicle was close to a Viacom building which owns MTV and Comedy Central,” Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.), told CNN. “And you have the whole issue with South Park, which Islamic terrorists were threatening to have retribution for.”

New York police commissioner Ray Kelly told reporters Sunday that investigators haven’t ruled out the possibility Viacom, a couple blocks from the car bomb, was a target because of the animated comedy episode. “We certainly wouldn’t rule it out,” Kelly said.

It said the intention had been to avenge the deaths of two “Muslim martyrs” named as Abu Omar al-Baghdadi and Abu Ayyub al-Masri, who were killed by U.S. forces in Iraq 12 days ago. The two al-Qaeda operatives were thought to have inspired the Tiger Tiger bombings and to have met Bilal Abdulla, the doctor convicted of the London attack.

It was Broadway’s busiest night of the week and the area was evacuated of thousands of tourists.

Bomb disposal experts used a robot to break the windows of the vehicle and remove explosive material.

The car contained three propane tanks, fireworks, two five-gallon gas cans, two clocks with batteries, electrical wires and a large metal box.

“It appeared that it was in the process of detonating, but malfunctioned,” said Paul Browne, a New York police spokesman.

Ray Kelly, the New York police commissioner, said: “I think the intent was to cause a significant ball of fire.”

South Park Episode 201: Season 14 Episode 6 Mohammed Controversy

Episode 201 of South Park was really a big hit. South Park Studios caught the attention of its fans around the world after broadcasting this episode. This is the 6th episode of the fourteenth season of South Park, also known as S14E06 if you’re looking for torrents.

One of the main subjects on this episode is the Islam Prophet Mohammed. South Park’s producers decided to not show the prophet’s face as well as his name all throughout the episode 201.

Sandy Winterfield already wrote about this in her post about Comedy Central Censored Mohammed.

Sandy said in her report that some viewers were disappointed about censoring Mohammed’s face on South Park Episode 201.

She also included a comment in a south park topic forum escapistmagazine.com, “censoring Muhammad for the sake of a satirical poke at the hypocrisy that is freedom of speech, Matt and Trey missed an enormous opportunity to make statement that would have had more meaning and impact on the world then anything that have ever done or will ever do“.

South Park Episode 201: Comedy Central Censored Mohammed

South Park Studios has caught attention once more after they aired their latest episode, Episode 201. This is the 6th episode of the fourteenth season of South Park, and the 201st overall episode of the series.

Originally, Mohammed, the Islam Prophet is part of the scene. However, producers decided to censor the prophet’s face as well as his name all throughout the episode. In Islam, their Prophet’s name is of high regard and depicting him in anyway is prohibited. Some viewers were disappointed about censoring it. Quoted from a comment in a south park topic forum escapistmagazine.com, “censoring Muhammad for the sake of a satirical poke at the hypocrisy that is freedom of speech, Matt and Trey missed an enormous opportunity to make statement that would have had more meaning and impact on the world then anything that have ever done or will ever do”. He added also in his comment paraphrasing a statement of the episode’s preview “If you don’t show Muhammed, then south park will be gone forever”. A counter reaction to his comment was then given and it says “i believe you are expecting too much from them though. Seriously, they are not trying to be social commentators. They are just there to make light of serious issues. They don’t ever try to make a point, they try to be funny.”
