Just when people get famous for a good reason, like winning the Miss USA 2010 title, rumors and pictures of your tainted past will emerge and be seen by the internet.
This is what exactly happened to the recently crowned Miss USA 2010, Rima Fakih. She is really one stunning beauty deserving of the crown from Dearborn, Michigan. Rima got involved in a radio contest called “Mojo in the Morning” in 2007. The contest involved stripped dancing and she also won the contest “Stripper 1010.” This was back in the year 2007. It is said that the prizes she got were some adult toys and a pole she can install on her very own home.
With this said, she might have a hard time projecting a positive image to the title. Don’t you think it’s time to forget the past? Whatever dancing she did, she didn’t really strip down. This might be just a contest for fun. People just take it way too seriously. Don’t they know that pole dancing is considered another form of dancing and exercise.

She’s only been queen for a day but the new Miss USA is already feeling the heat from the media spotlight.
The day after she won Donald Trump’s annual beauty pageant, TMZ posted photos of Rima competing in a pole-dancing contest put on by a Detroit radio station.
The new Miss USA was also photographed with her bra stuffed full of dollar bills, although the then 22-year-old beauty didn’t remove all of her clothes – she simply danced provocatively with short shorts and a tank top.
Rima Fakih, who is from Michigan participated in the 2007 show called “Mojo in the Morning” radio show which was held in Detroit. Fakih participated in the event and was adjudged the winner of the show’s “Stripper 101? contest. She participated in the show along with other 94 girls who were taught how to dance on stage by strippers at a club.

LAS VEGAS —A 24 year old brunette was finally proclaimed and hailed as the new Miss USA 2010 during the coronation night of the prestigious pageant.
Rima Fakih of Dearborn, Mich., won the title at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip after swimsuit, evening- gown and interview competitions.
Born in New York, Fakih, 24, was raised in Dearborn with her parents and her younger brother, Rami. She plans to start law school after her stint as 2010 Miss USA.
Fakih said she hopes that her position will help break some of the negative stereotypes about Arab-Americans. She wants to “show the world that there are Arabs who are beautiful, not only in looks but also on the inside. There are Arabs that are caring, that are good people, and who love the country they live in.”
When asked how she felt about winning the crown, she said, “Ask me after I’ve had a pizza.”
Fakih won a spot representing the United States in the 2010 Miss Universe pageant, a one-year lease on a New York apartment with living expenses and an undisclosed salary.
Rima Fakih swimsuit photos have been causing an internet uproar lately. One cause might be because besides being a Lebanese-American, their family is a known Shiite Muslim. Muslim women are being prohibited from making poses which are deemed to be haram to Islam.
However, Rima says through they are Shiite Muslims her family celebrates elements of both the Muslim and Christian faiths.
