After more than 40 years and after the rich history of these two teams, Army and Notre Dame returns to their former battlefield, the Yankees Stadium in New York. In 1924 the first game between Notre Dame and Army took place and then their rivalry became intense during the 1946 and 1946 games. These two teams gather most of the College football stars during that time and clash on a classic match.

The "Four Horsemen" carried Notre Dame to a 13-7 victory over Army in 1924.

Today, these two teams battle one another fresh from a win. Notre Dame has a very good feeling going into this game because last week they defeated then number 14 Utah, 28-3. It was a humiliating game for the Utah Utes.

Army Black Knights is coming into this game fresh from a win against Kent State, 45-28. When it comes to who defeated the greater team then we can say it is Notre Dame but who knows what will happen today.

The rivalry between Army, Notre Dame and Navy is intense but the standings here does not matter since all these teams are independent of any conference. Looking into these teams in terms of win-loss, Navy leads with 7-3 followed by Army with 6-4 and then Notre Dame at 5-5.

To give you a bit of a background on why this game is significant here is a look at the rivalry of Army and Notre Dame.

The Troy Trojans are second in the Sun Belt conference and this is the only game they will have this season against a ranked team. The Trojans have surely prepared for this big game and they will throw everything in order to defeat number 17 South Carolina which is first in the SEC-East. Troy is ahead in passing yards and they are not far when it comes to rushing yard. I believe that a win by the Trojans on this game is very possible.

South Carolina wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (1) is tackled by Florida safety Will Hill, lower left, and safety Ahmad Black after catching a pass in the first half of an NCAA college football game in Gainesville, Fla., Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010.
South Carolina Gamecocks is at 7-3 and 5-3 SEC. They won last week against then number 22 Florida by a huge margin. Their biggest win so far this season is when they defeaten then number 1 Alabama and showed everyone that they have what it taked. Today, they will be against an unranked opponent that has the capability to defeat them.

The Trojans will be figting for glory today while South Carolina is searching for a third win in as many meetings in this series after beating Troy in 2004 and 2005. Currenlt however, the Trojans is the nation’s 13th-best passing team averaging close to 300 yards per game. South Carolina will be in a tough spot today.

Watch out as we give updates on the Troy Trojans vs South Carolina Gamecocks NCAA football game today.

Number 10 Oklahoma State is now within the Top 10 of the BCS standings courtesy of a rare win against nemesis Texas. Today’s game might be called as the calm before the storm because next week they will be facing former BCS number 1 Oklahoma. Oklahoma drops to number 14 after their successive defeats, however they might just be waiting to ambush Oklahoma State as a sending out gift.

Oklahoma State's Brandon Weeden (3) tries to avoid Texas defender Sam Acho, right, during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game, Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010 in Austin, Texas.
Kansas Jayhawks is 1-1 in its game against ranked teams this season. They defeated then number 15 Georgia Tech 28-25 during week 2 of the NCAA football season. Last week however, they llost to then number 8 Nebraska, 20-3. The Jayhawks seems to be in the hardest road ending the season because their last three games are all against ranked teams. They will be facing number 15 Missouri next week for the season ender games.

Kansas has an advantage against Oklahoma State. Their personal head to head match was 29-28-3. Oklahoma had the advantage recently though winning five of six since the Big 12 was formed in 1996, including victories in all three matchups in Lawrence.

Oklahoma State Cowboys are on top of the Big 12 standings but they are still way down the BCS rankings. This team holds the top FBS offense at 547.5 yards per game and added to that is their player, Weeden throwing for a school-record 3,319 yards and 27 touchdowns. He has topped 400 passing yards three times this year and is four TD passes from matching Josh Fields’ school record of 31, set in 2002.

Can Oklahoma State cruise in its last two games without a loss or will Kansas deliver them another defeat and prepare for their last game in contemplation.

Watch out as we get updates for the Kansas vs Oklahoma State NCAA football game.

They lost to then number 10 Ohio State, 49-0 and then two weeks after they lost once more to another ranked team, then number 9 Wisconsin 34-13. Today they are acing another ranked team, number 12 Michigan State.

Michigan State had been flawless until they faced then number 18 Iowa. They were defeated handily by Iowa with a game score of 37-6. Despite the defeat the Michigan State Spartans is still number 1 in the Big Ten standings. This team is avoiding another surprise from any team be it ranked or not.

The last two games for Michigan State is a giveaway of sorts. This one is hardly a battle since most experts know the result already. Nex week the results will be out sooner than you expected as they face Penn State.

Michigan State had been on a roll against Purdue. In their last thtee consecutive meetings, Purdue has won the game easily. Added to this fact is that their receiver-kick had indeed returned. Keshawn Martin will be seen back in action after he was ask to rest for two games due to an ankle injury.

Last season, Michigan State defeated Purdue, 40-37. In that game MArtin set up the game-winning field goal with an 84-yard kickoff return.

Who will win in this game between Michigan State Spartans and Purdue Boilermakers? Check out for updates soon.

Last week the Fresno State Bulldogs nearly defeated then number 21 Nevada. Nevada escape by a thin margin of a single point. Last week’s game show the power of the Bulldogs and how they can rally their way into any team. The game last week was a trade of opportunities but in the last quarter it was a chilling end. Could the game today be the same as last week and would Fresno State be the first team this season to hand over a defeat to Boise State.

Boise State Broncos is still undefeated at 9-0. Many says that the BCS rankings is being unfair to the team since they should had been ranked number 1 already. Despite the number 4 ranking the team is very eager to maintain a clear and perfect season and go to the BCS and become this years champions.

Fresno State's Ryan Colburn throws against Nevada in the first half of an NCAA college football game Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010 in Fresno, Calif. (AP Photo/Gary Kazanjian)

Hungry for a win against a ranked team, the Fresno State Bulldogs are determined to break the hunger for a win. Their last win against a ranked team was in the 2004 Computers Bowl in Boise where they defeated then number 18 Virginia. Last weeks loss to Nevada was their 12th consecutive loss to a ranked team.

It was also way back in 2007 when Fresno State lost all four road games against Boise State by an average of 34.5 points. The last time Fresno State won against Boise State was in 1984. In the past nine meetings between these two teams, the Bulldogs only won a single game and that is the 27-5 victory in 2005.

Can the Fresno State Bulldogs pull a win this time around? Will we see the first loss of Boise State Broncos? Watch out for game updates for the Fresno State vs Boise State NCAA football game.

The Toledo Rockets are aiming to get the top spot in the Mid-Atlantic Conference by winning against Bowling Green. Toledo is 2nd in MAC at 5-1 while Bowling Green is fifth at 1-5. Their nearest rival Miami (OH) seems to have a problem with their game against Akron today. The game between the two had been very close and it looks like Miami (OH) might lose the game and when they do Toledo for sure will take on the lead.

Toledo came from a lost last week. They lost 65-30 to Northern Illinois. Toledo also failed to step up against one of the most eligible teams in NCAA College football, Boise State since they also lost in that game 57-14. Today they are facing an opponent which in calculated terms they can easily defeat. These past weeks however it seems the teams who are seemed underdog turns out to be the dominant team and defeat the better teams. Our suggestion to Toledo is to really keep their team concentration until the last quarter.

Bowling Green Falcons have little luck this season. Their only two wins came from a win against Central Michigan 17-14 and Marshall 44-28. It seems that this season they will be resting out again at the bottom of the MAC with better prospects for next season.

Here are the box scores so far for Bowling Green vs Toledo on NCAA College football:

First Quarter: 11:05 Bowling Green – Terrance Owens pass complete to Eric Page for 48 yards for a TOUCHDOWN. Bill Claus extra point BLOCKED; 8:58 Bowling Green – Terrance Owens pass complete to Kenny Stafford for 33 yards for a TOUCHDOWN. Two-point conversion attempt, David Pasquale pass FAILED; 7:14 Bowling Green – Eric Page pass complete to Tim Cortazzo for 35 yards for a TOUCHDOWN. Bill Claus extra point GOOD.

Game Score: 19-0 Toledo Rockets

Akron has yet to win a football game this season. They have already failed to grab the opportunity in some few close games like their match with Gardner-Webb were they lost by just a point, 38-37. Just last week Akron once again faltered and was defeated by Ball State, 37-30. These defeats came in two overtimes and are chances that they should have grabbed.

Miami (OH) is 6-4 and is second in the Mid-Atlantic Conference (MAC) with 5 wins and just a single loss. They are also on a two games winning streak after defeating Buffalo and Bowling Green. Two more games for Miami (OH) and another season is over. They will be facing Temple next week.

Akron on the other hand is a team yearning for a win and today they are hoping to get that but can they expect a win when all they can manage is a short of winning comeback. This team is above 100 in all aspects of the game and seems to really work hard in finding their rhythm. They might win perhaps not this season but soon enough,

Stay tuned for updates as Miami (OH) faces Akron today. What do you know there might be a surprise.

The scandal which links Auburn quarterback Cam Newton, his father and alleged sell-off to Mississippi State continued to roll as both FBI and NCAA investigation dig into the allegations and incident. The FBI recently talked to John Bond, a former Mississippi State player who helped sparked the NCAA’s investigation on Newton. According to Bond’s attorney, their client will fully cooperate with both the NCAA and the FBI.

According to Bond, Newton’s father asked for $180,000 in exchange for Newton’s signing with the Mississippi State Bulldogs. The man who had been talking with Newton’s father was identified as Kenny Rogers (not the singer). Rogers is expected to appear at the NCAA investigation panel soon according to Doug Zeit, Roger’s attorney.

Cecil, Newton’s father had been negotiating for a $100,000 to $180,000 in cash and/or benefits in order for Newton to sign up for the Bulldogs. However, Mississippi State refused the offer since according to NCAA rules, “the solicitation of cash or benefits by a prospective student-athlete or another individual on his or her behalf is not allowed under NCAA rules.” Scott Stricklin, Mississippi State athletic director already released in a statement confirming the allegations however the amount was not expressly stated.

Despite the allegations, Auburn defended Cam Newton saying that Newton is an “eligible student-athlete.” They also contended that since it was not confirmed whether Newton did acknowledge the acts of his father, it would be premature to really condemn Newton on such allegations.

Cam Newton’s latest show of power and strength came over Auburn’s latest win against Georgia last week.

We are now on the NCAA College Football Week 12 and to beep up the week we have a game between two top Mid-Atlantic Conference opponents, Ohio Bobcats vs Temple Owls. Both teams are 5-1 when it comes to their conference standings and it is about time that one of them bows down to the other. It seems however that neither of them want to budge and thus we are seeing a very tight game between the two here at Lincoln Financial Field.

The first quarter is over and so far we have one touchdown from Ohio’s Vince Davidson who rushes for 5 yards for the touchdown. Matt Weller made the extra point. The first touchdown of this game was made with 5:38 on the first quarter. Temple made their own touchdown with 13:07 in the second quarter through Matt Brown rush for 1 yard and Brandon McManus made the extra point.

These two teams have quite a long winning streak. Ohio has its record at six straight wins while Temple has four. Both of these teams also failed to win against a ranked opponent however that does not matter as long as they become champions in their conference. Then number 23 Penn State defeated Temple on Sept. 25 while then number 2 Ohio State defeated Ohio on Sept. 18.

There will be one more game for both of these teams on Week 13 in which most of the other NCAA football teams ends the NCAA football 2010 season. The final games will be on November 27 but for the two it will be on the 23rd and 26th respectively. Temple Owls will face Miami (OH) Redhawks while Ohio Bobcats meets Kent State Golden Flashes.

Standby for more updates on the Ohio vs Temple NCAA football game on Week 12 of NCAA College football.

GAME UPDATE/S: Ohio Bobcats leads 14-10 at half time after Boo Jackson pass complete to Riley Dunlop for 16 yards for a touchdown and Matt Weller’s extra point. Temple Owls made a field goal courtesy of Brandon McManus from 45 yards.
