Spain vs Netherlands World Cup 2010 Finals

July 12, 2010 by · Leave a Comment

Spain vs Netherlands World Cup 2010 Finals – Many have said that Paul the Octopus already ended this game by predicting Spain as the 2010 World Cup champions. By letting Spain win it also zeals the observation that the era of Total Football had long ended in 1978.

This scenario is something that Netherlands coach, Bert van Marwijk is avoiding and am sure everyone else in the team. There are lots of speculations and there are many who wants Paul The Octopus to fail in the finals prediction tonight.

The two key players to the Spain vs Netherlands match would be David Villa and Wesley Sneijder. Each of them have 5 goals a piece and they had been pivotal to every game, who would rise above the other and deliver the World Cup 2010 crown to their team.

A lost today for the Netherlands will mean their third failure to snatch that elusive World Cup trophy. They have long prepared for this and a repeat of the 1974 and 1978 match would surely not the scenario that the Holland players are looking forward to. What would be different this year for Netherlands? Let us look at a video produced by ESPN regarding the Netherlands for the World Cup 2010.
