Sandra Bullock’s Oscar Acceptance Speech

December 2, 2016 by · Leave a Comment

Sandra Bullock appeared very gorgeous in her attire as she walked up to the stage to receive her Best Actress Trophy and delivered her acceptance speech.

Sandra Bullock, the star of the movie “The Blind Side” won one of the most coveted Oscars Awards – The Best Actress. There was a stiff competition among co-nominees Helen Mirren of the “The Last Station”, Carey Mulligan of “An Education”, Gabourey Sidibe in “Precious”, and Meryl Streep in “Julie & Julia” but Sandra emerged as the winner among them.

In her speech, she thanked all her co-nominees for the Best Actress Award including the controversial Meryl Streep in which she had a kissing scene by saying “you know what I think of you and you are such a good kisser.”

Due to the 45-second time limit of the acceptance speech in Oscars, Sandra Bullock ended her acceptance speech by thanking her mom Helga Bullock for not allowing her to ride in cars with boys until she finally reached her debut age of 18.

One of the best closing remarks in her speech was addressed again to her mom thanking her for reminding her “that there’s no race, no religion, no class system, no color, nothing, no sexual orientation that makes us better than anyone else.”

Congratulations Sandra Bullock and more power to your career! I am very sure that with that Oscars Best Actress Trophy, a lot more movie offers will be coming your way.
