The official date of the Royal Wedding in 2011 is still being discussed but according to reports, this might happen during Spring of 2011. That would be summer time in London. To prove the love of Prince William, Princess Diana gave Kate a precious gift. The gift is Princess Diana‘s blue sapphire and diamond. It is their official engagement ring.

The couple met way back in 2001 when they were students of art history at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. They were both 28 years of age as of now.

Kate Middleton was from a middle-class family and her father was a former pilot while her mother was a flight attendant. Today, her parents are self-made millionaires with their children’s party business, where Kate now works. But before that, Kate worked as a buyer for the fashion chain Jigsaw.
