Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2010: List of Inductees

March 15, 2010, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. A new set of inductees was just announced. For the performers it includes ABBA, Genesis, The Hollies, Jimmy Cliff and The Stoogies. For the non-performers it comprises of David Geffen; Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil; Ellie Greenwich and Jeff Barry,, Jesse Stone, Mort Shuman, Otis Blackwell.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation was created last April 20, 1983. The foundation will be having induction of ceremonies every year for those handful of artists who have shown demonstrable influence and significance within the history of Rock and Roll. To qualify for the induction, groups or individuals should already in the industry 25 years after the release of their first album.
