October 26, 2014 by · 7 Comments

There has been a new announcement from Sony, the makers of Play Station 3 (PS3) game consoles. Accordingly, the newest PS3 firmware update to 3.30 features trophy enhancements that will enable PS3 gamers for sorting options that make will it make easier for them to claim bragging rights among their fellow PS3 players on PlayStation Network.

Trophy enhancements –- With the new PS3 firmware update to 3.30, PS3 players can more easily sort trophies in the [Trophy Collection] and [Comparing Trophy] sections. Sorting can be done with [Trophy Collection] in the [Game Category] and also when comparing trophies with your friends in the [Friend Category]

Trophy Folder (Title List) can be sorted by game name/ by title according to the date in which PS3 players earned their last trophy (ascending/descending)

Add-on list (Group list) can be sorted by original/the date in which Ps3 players earned their last trophy (ascending/descending)

Trophy list can be sorted by original/trophy name/grade/date of obtaining the trophy (ascending/descending)

Although this is not much of added features to the Playstation 3 firmware update of 3.30 which is evidenced by some comments going “who cares?”, Sony claims that this firmware update for PS3 to 3.30 prepares for some more exciting features including 3D stereoscopic gaming, which is coming soon to PS3.

I don’t really care about this update, but it’s not something that is going to bother me. Every update that Sony puts out for the PS3 makes it just that little bit better. By next year I believe that will all the updates coming out the ps3 is going to be twice as good. I would like an update so I can listen to my music in more games. As of now I’ve never had a game yet where I can listen to music. Or perhaps…..something like….Well. I don’t know. What would be a good update?

I’ve noticed lately alot of people are showing alot of negativity towards Sony and the Playstation 3 console. Why is this? Because they put the update that removed the “OS” feature? Or becuase you’ve heard too many stories about the ” YLOD ” . Sony still has every single ounce of support from me no matter what happens. I am proud to say I own a PS3 and that they blow away the Xbox and Wii. And If mine breaks(and I can’t fix it which isn’t likely) Then I will buy a new one. And I will not be upset. I’ll be happy that I got a new one. Although since getting my Ps3 when they were first availible in Canada, we have developed a special bond. We are in love and it would break my heart to loose her.
