to wolf:maybe it was just a clerical error for someone who wrote this news update. There should be a “period”(.) after the president but they were’nt able to put. As u can see the sentence that comes after the president is noynoy’s name which indicates that he leads the presidential votes.(just for enlightenment)

to wolf,, actually the sentence is correct.. “Liberal Party and son of former Philippine President” is referring to “Nonoy” who’s name is also Benigno Aquino since he is “The Third” (III) which means he has the same first as his father and Grandfather.

Let’s pray for our new president that he may be a true servant to the people,,,

sa mga kababayan ko, lahat tayo gusto mabago ang sitwasyon ng pilipinas but we have to understand n mag isa lang ang presidente, at di nya kaya magawa mag isa ang pagbabago na gusto nating lahat kung hindi tayo magtutulungang mga pilipino… As the saying goes, UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL!!! hindi ganun kadali n baguhin ang sitwasyon sa isang term lang ng president because it really takes time… hindi naman agad mababago ang lahat sa isang click lang! basta magkaisa lang tayo at suportahan ang president, and with GOD’s guidance and support, nothing is impossible…Let’s trust GOD at alam nating lahat how religious NOYNOY is! (also his mother CORY) Go NOYNOY! Mabuhay ka.. WE LOVE YOU…

  33. Jeffrey says:

I just hope the President Noynoy will lead and not just sit there while the so called “ADVISERS” run the scene from behind. There are too many issues that needs to be addressed such as: Lowering Inflation rate and the cost of commodity to the public, Opening more investment windows not only to the investors but to the common people, Change in taxation and bureaucratic system and organize the transparency of money used for all projects, Major change in the barangay system which is in fact the smallest yet the biggest source of corruption (from micro – macro),Problems Investor relations to other countries, Debt consolidation of the country as we have more than $130 Billion in debt to other countries and global financial institutions, and a lot more issues to solve. I believe that he as president can empower the nation but he needs to stand firm, be decisive and act as the power of the nation. I just hope that he inherited his father’s will and determination and the principles of his mother. May he lead the country and not just another “Puppet” that the oppressors are controlling. If we remember his mothers ruling, his mother had the correct intentions to run the country. The problem was that the same people that aided the Marcos-es were the same advisers in her term as president. One example I can give is Danding Cojuanco that was a Marcos cronie before. Today, rumors say that he’ll be aiding Noynoy in some economic issues about the country. Why is that? Let’s just pray that he’ll have the strength and wisdom to pick his trusted advisers and to lead the Filipino people to a new Philippines.

  34. marjivy millado says:

sana nga si noynoy na ang solution sa kahirapan. at si binay ang susuporta para maging katulad ng makati ang buong pilipinas. ika nga ni binay, natupad na nya ang ipinangako pa lang ng iba. at si noynoy, sana tuwid na nga ang daan na ating tatahakin. i’m not for noynoy but i will support and respect him as our newly elected president of the republic of the philippines.

  35. rooster says:

we not only need to wait and watch for a miracle to happen and of what might these electives officials will do to our country and its economy and to the people but also to do our part for the betterment of our country. Like for example I am here in Canada but from time to time I tried to buy philippines product.that way nakakatulong tayo sa ating economy. We have good brands that I consider of good qualities and filipinos can be proud of.If we support them ,that’s one reason they will improve their goods.I wish that filipinos shoud be open minded enough to give new elective officials space to prove their qualifications.Look at Legazpi City now,you won’t believe how ,for a short period of time, after more than 20 years of poverty in the hands of trapos, it was transformed into a beautiful and progressive city. Thanks to Mayor Rosal and Company for an exceptional job well done.I don’t blame them if people elect them again. They are the true servants of the people. They deserve the trust of the people of Legaspi city.

  36. fukai says:

so its binoy who won the election. Binoy = binay and ninoy

  37. jake says:

i think, Noy-Mhar is a good tandem, becuase there will be a smooth communication betwen them. The weakness of one may be filled by the other. Example: expertise on economics. Remember, being a president and vice president, their focus is not only on disbursement but all also how to improve the economy of the country. That expertise, is the edge of Mr. Mhar.

I have no comment against mr. binay, with his performance in makati which many of less fortunate in makati can justify for it, he share it to apply in the whole country. However, makati is rich city with substanciable source of income compare to the philippine as a whole. I have this fear, if he can do same without so much resources.

Our country needs expert in the field of economics. Becuase no matter how large we collect from the taxes, it is not sufficient to alleviate poverty in the country. what we need for the moment, are the people who can multiply our money. And i think Mhar is a qualified person. Noy is there to control the disbursement of the goverment, minimize corruption and distribute the benefits to the least fortunate people of the country.

Please pray for Mhar to get the position of Vice President.

    Thank you.

  38. jake says:

Noynoy will have a strong self-determination if Mhar will be there as his vice president. If mr. binay would be his VP, Mr. Binay will only act whatever, Mr. Aquino would assign to him. (Being an adviser is a least option). As a whole, they will perform their duty individually. Not unlike with Mhar, there is a posibility that they will work hand-in-hand for the betterment of the country.

    opinion lang po.
