Embattled heiress Paris Hilton seems to have gotten her good luck groove back. After she has agreed to cop to misdemeanor drug possession and obstructing an officer she has avoided a felony cocaine rap and possible jail time of one year at the Clark County Detention Center.
Hilton entered a plea agreement that directs her to complete a drug abuse program, pay a $2,000 fine and serve 200 hours of community service instead (Make her clean toilets please. Maybe the smell of toilet cleaners will do her more good than cocaine… just my two cents).
In exchange, the two consecutive six-month sentences in the Clark County Detention Center will be suspended.
Hilton was arrested last Aug. 27 in Las Vegas following a traffic stop outside the Wynn hotel after police officers smelled marijuana smoke wafting from their vehicle. Boyfriend Cy Waits failed a field sobriety test and officers started asking questions her questions. She asked to be allowed to reach for a lip gloss from her bag and instead .08 grams of coke fell out of her purse.
With jail off the table, Paris is enroute to Asia where she will be holding fashion shows in Tokyo, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur and visiting her seven boutiques, with a new one opening in Jakarta’s Grand Indonesia Mall.
