Buckeyes head coach Jim Tressel celebrated his 100th win as second-seeded Ohio State clobbered Indiana 38-10 on Saturday. The Ohio State Buckeyes remain unbeaten this season at 6-0 and 2-0 in the Big Ten conference. They have won twelve consecutive games and 16 in a row against the Hoosiers.
Buckeyes quarterback Terrelle Pryor tossed three touchdown passes, completing 24 out of 30 passes for 334 yards. The Heisman Trophy candidate Pryor hit scoring passes that covered 22 yards to Dane Sanzenbacher, 60 yards to Brandon Saine and 17 yards to DeVier Posey.
Dan Herron opened up the Buckeyes onslaught with a touchdown in the first minutes of play. Herron ran 68 yards on 12 rushes and added two touchdowns for the Buckeyes.
Hoosiers quarterback Ben Chappell was hounded by the Buckeyes all game, completing 16 of 26 for 106 yards and two interceptions. Indiana has been averaging 40 points, close to 350 passing yards and 455 total yards per game but the Buckeyes defense limited the Hoosiers offense.
Ohio State tallied 478 yards while Indiana piled up 210 yards which was less than half their 455-yard average.
