2010 NCAA Basketball Tournament Schedule

After a much research for the release of both the 2010 NCAA Mens Basketball Tournament Bracket and the 2010 Womens Basketball Tournament Bracket to know which teams are being paired to for a match, basketball fans are now looking up for the NCAA Basketball Tournament Schedule.

NCAA features 64 teams to battle for the much coveted National Championship Round. Let’s see how the schedule looks like.

For the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Division, First Round will be on March 18 and 19. All qualifiers are eligible for a match in the Second Round scheduled on March 20 and 21. Moving on after the Second Round are the 16 teams called Sweet 16 which will be held on March 25 and 26. Half of those teams are then qualified for the so-called Elite 8 scheduled for a match on March 27 and 28. Excitement builds on as the Final Four battles in the court on April 3. Finally, the National Championship in which a winner will be declared is scheduled on April 5 .

For the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Division, the First Round is scheduled on March 20 and 21. This will be followed by a Second Round on March 22 and 23. After that, several Regional Rounds follow on March 27 up to March 30 where winning teams will advance to the National Semifinals scheduled on April 4 at San Antonio. Finally, two of the best basketball teams will meet on National Championship on April 6 where a winner will be announced.
