Michael Grimm is America’s Got Talent 2010 Winner – So who won America’s Got Talent 2010? After several weeks of competition, finally, the America’s Got Talent winner was already announced. A lot have expected that the winner will emerge from the two opera singers Jackie Evancho and Prince Poppycock but America have decided already and Michael Grimm was declared as this year’s America’s Got Talent 2010 winner.

As the winner of this year’s America’s Got Talent 2010, Michael Grimm will receive $1,000,000 in prize. Jackie Evancho came in as second place followed by Fighting Gravity on the third and Prince Poppycock as fourth placer. In their performances during the finals night of hit talent reality tv show, Jackie Evancho performed a cathedral song to the tune of “Ave Maria” wearing a white dress. She was like an angel singing from the sky with that outstanding performance. Meanwhile, her contender, another opera singer Prince Poppycock got a buzz from Piers Morgan telling him that his performance was not funny enough to amuse him.

Michael Grimm, who was declared as the winner, sang a song entitled “When a Man Loves a Woman” full of emotions as he remembered what happened to his parents during the height of Hurricane Katrina. Fighting Gravity, on the other hand, performed another great dance with the use of lights under the dark.

Below are the America’s Got Talent 2010 contestants’ results and their performances during the finals night. Congratulations to Michael Grimm for winning this year’s America’s Got Talent 2010.

Congrats to Michael Grimm. All finalists were certainly deserving of the title. I would just like to see a different talent besides singing take 1st place one year. America’s Got Talent is gradually becoming American Idol II. Minus the first season of AGT, all winners have been singers.

Ok so obviously he wasn’t YOUR favorite but he surely was the favorite of me and most of America! If the other contestants were better then they would have won, period! Jackie was a great singer, but it’s obvious that not as many Americans prefer opera singing bc this is the second year in a row that and opera singer lost at the very end. Although we recognize Jackie’s awesome talent, not everyone want to sit and listen to an opera act…especially for a Vegas show…where she has no business being as a child anyway. Jackie will have her time in the spotlight, but this is MICHAEL’S time! He has a huge fan following and the audience and judges loved him every single performance. And for your information..writer who knows so much..he did not sing “When a man loves a women” for his grandparents bc they lost their home, he sang it to his girlfriend/soon to be fiance who was sitting in the audience. Get your facts straight before you go writing lies…and uh hey, here’s an idea…watch the show!!!! <3 MICHAEL GRIMMMMMMM <3

Can you possible show any more disdain for the winner? Michael Grimm was “declared” the winner sounds like you just can’t believe he was VOTED the winner. He won with votes, so get over it. You let your own emotions color the article, and I think you’re lazy journalist because Michael Grimm said he sang “When a Man Loves a Woman” to his girlfriend Lucie…it wasn’t a secret.

  4. Deborah says:

You say that a lot of people wanted Jackie or Poppycock to win, but happily, and obviously a lot MORE people wanted Michael to win didn’t they? Why do you even mention this, it is not factual based on the results. And to set your record straight; if you had been watching the same show as the rest of us you would know that Michael sang “When A Man Loves A Woman” for his girlfriend (now fiancee) Lucie, as his inspiration.

  5. Christie says:

Michael’s EMOTIONS from this performance came from singing it to his girlfriend of 3 years, Lucie. Get your facts together before chopping him. Michael was WELL DESERVING of winning and all of his fans made sure it would happen. He is a very genuine person and will go far! America made “the best man win.”

    • Beth says:

Michael won by votes. After hundreds of fans requested that he sing When A Man Loves A Woman, he chose to sing it to his “girlfriend” Lucie, and proposed to her the next day on National TV, but they had already been engaged. Can’t believe his fans don’t realize that they have been dissed!

    • Candy says:

I agree. Michael did won by votes. He was good but not the best. To me this is becomg like American Idol, because almost every year a singer is winning. And yeah its talent to sing but its not the best talent. And I believe for a 9 year to sing opera is TALENT. What nine year old could do that. Their is many people around Michael age that could sing. So he didnt stand out as much. He only stood out because of what his grandparents went through. SO he had a story to back him up. I beleive people voted because of his story and how he would mostly cry and talk about his grandparents not because of his talent. But yet again it is america.

    • Gina Black says:

@Candy, I would have voted for him if he had never spoke about his grandparents or Katrina….Someone who is 9 singing opera is BORING….yes she is amazing…but she is JUST SINGING NOTES!!! She does not live a song…MICHAEL LIVES THE LYRICS…if Jackie was meant to win she would have won….her fans thanks to NBC push of her thought she had this in the bag and didn’t vote…as MG fans we knew we had to go up against the network promotions of J.E.!! NBC was the one who pushed the Katrina story not Michael…
