Masters Golf Tournament 2010 Updated Leaderboard: Fred Couples Leading

Masters Golf Tournament 2010 leaderboard update: Not too long ago, we saw that Tom Watson was leading the Masters Leaderboard. Watson shot an amazing first round at Augusta National Golf Club and he has become a crowd favorite. However, in the latest update of the Masters Leaderboard, it now has Fred Couples in the number 1 position.

Fred Couples is the former champion of the Masters Golf Tournament way back in 1992. Couples managed to shoot a four-under back nine to take the first day lead at six-under.

Meanwhile, all eyes are still on the world’s best golfer Tiger Woods. Woods is performing quite well at the Masters. He has made two eagles in one, the first time that’s happened in his professional golf career notwithstanding the ‘racist’ act by the officials at Augusta National Golf Club insisting that ‘ no one player – not even when it’s the world’s best embroiled in a scandal – would overshadow their tournament.’

Added to that, a small plane flew overhead of Tiger Woods pulling a banner with a catty word play on Buddhism, his religion, in reference to the scandal.

I guess with all these ‘insults’, Tiger Woods really needs to outshine other golfers to prove once again that despite the 5-month layoff he had in his professional golf career facing infidelity issues, he is still the world’s number 1 golfer.

Below is the updated Masters Leaderboard. Stay tuned to us for more updates on the Masters Golf Tournament 2010.
