Masters Golf Tournament 2010 update: The third round of the Masters Golf Tournament 2010 was finished already and the results revealed that the world’s number 1 professional golfer Tiger Woods remained on the third spot.
Tiger Woods’ performance was improving per round. We have seen him performed in round 1 of the Masters Golf Tournament 2010 placing seventh in the leaderboard and making two eagles in one, the first time it happened in his professional golf career.
In round 2 of the Masters, Tiger Woods advanced in the third spot of the leaderboard making a shot of 2-under 70.
In today’s round 3, both golfers Tiger Woods and Philip Mickelson both started off with two early birdies, moving to within a shot of Lee Westwood. But of the two superstar golfers, only Mickelson stayed strong while Woods shot himself with three bogeys. Meanwhile, Westwood pulled well ahead and managed to lead the 2010 Masters Golf Tournament leaderboard today.
“I felt more comfortable because I was hitting the ball better and I was putting better, even though I didn’t shoot as low a score. I think that’s a factor of the conditions. I feel like I [had] more control of the golf ball today from tee to green, and I hit putts right on my lines. That’s something I wasn’t doing yesterday,” Tiger Woods said.
Will Tiger Woods manage to bring home the bacon in Sunday’s Masters Golf Tournament 2010 finals? Well, let’s see. Stay tuned to us for more updates.
