Manchester United is proving themselves to all their football fans before the Premiere League officially kicks off. During their first match on their North American tour at Canada, they beat Celtics at a score of 3-1. In the recently concluded game with Philadephia Union at Lincoln Financial Field of which 44,213 football fans attended, Manchester United once again grabbed the win scoring 1-0.

Philadelphia Union dominated the game mostly during the first half of the match. There were several attempts by Union that nearly got into the net. The first one happened early during the 11th minute when Danny Mwanga struck the ball but was eventually stopped by United goalkeeper Tomasz Kusczak. That was followed after 6 minutes when Eduardo Coudet’s cross was almost deflected into the net.

The first half ended with still no successful goals for both teams. Manchester United’s winning goal came in on the 76th minute through Gabriel Obertan. Danny Welbeck collected the loose ball from Amobi Okugo in the midfield, passed it over to Obertan, who then slotted the ball home passing Union’s goalkeeper.
