It was another windy day at the Old Course of St. Andrews in round three. Louis Oosthuizen did not back off as he maintained his spot heading to the last round on Sunday. His third round score of 3-under par 69 was good enough to give him a 4-stroke lead over Paul Casey. Oosthuizen has a 3-day total of 15-under at 201 while Casey is at 11-under at 205. Martin Kaymer is seven shots off the leader at number three position after shooting a 4-under par for the round, now with a total of 8- under with 208.
On Sunday, Oosthuizen aims for his first major win. It could be the first time in 46 years for someone to win a first major in St. Andrews. Oosthuizen was quoted on Yahoo!Sports, “The Open at St. Andrews would be something special”, it’s one of those things you dream of.”
One more round and we may get to see “Shrek” with that claret jug.
