The newest Apple iPad has become the newest craze by a lot people nowadays especially the Americans. They first release the gadget having Wifi-only connection early this month which has brought tremendous traffic to a lot of Apple stores. Some were even camping out the store just to be first in the line.
Another version of the tablet will be released April 30 and it featured Wifi plus 3G respectively. Apple customers are able to pre-order the new iPad online and will receive the item on April 30. Apple stores around the country will start selling the new iPad at 5 p.m. on the same day. Apple has anticipated that some regions will sell out quickly.
What’s the difference of the versions anyway? Obviously, for iPad having Wifi plus an added 3G, the 3G feature contains A-GPS or Assisted GPS. It is a system which can improve the startup performance of a GPS satellite-based positioning system. It is used extensively with GPS-capable cellular phones. AT&T is marketing pre-paid 3G data plans for the new iPad and there will be an onscreen application helping users manage their accounts.
Prices of iPad with Wifi starts with $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB, and $699 for 64GB. The models featuring Wi-Fi and 3G will be $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB, and $829 for 64GB, as listed on Apple.com.
If you are living outside US, pre orders won’t be available until May 10 and if you’re in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, and the U.K. will have to wait until the end of May before you can buy it in Apple Stores.
