Number 24 Kansas State Wildcats will face Number 17 Missouri Tigers in todays football game at the Faurot Field in Missouri. It will be the home field of the Tigers and they are prepared to ambush the Wildcats and put them out of the BCS rankings today, however Kansas State says they are prepared and will give the Tigers a decisive upset in this game.

Missouri Tigers had been undefeated for most of the first half of the NCAA Football this season and in fact they have defeated then number 1 Oklahoma which made them reach ranked number 7 in the BCS. However, it seems the curse of defeating Oklahoma had haunted them and after that they suffered two successive defeats from then number 14 Nebraska and then the following week from Texas Tech.

When Missouri won its first seven games, it had been the best start of the Tigers in the 50 years history of their team. After that it seems to be downhill. During their last two game their offense and defense seems to be missing. Nebraska hammered them with a 24-0 first quarter lead and then they lost 31-17. After that, Texas Tech massacred them as early as less than 10 minutes of the first quarter 14-0 and then was defeated 24-17.

If the Kansas State Wildcats wish to win this game they should motivate Daniel Thomas to step up for the team and inspire others. He is second in the Big 12 with 1,102 rushing yards, had 79 on 23 carries in last season’s 38-12 loss to Missouri but has now topped 100 in three consecutive games.

Kansas State just won a game against a very strong Texas football team and they could very well give the Missouri Tigers their third lost after their great win against former BCS number 1 Oklahoma Sooners. Kansas however has just won four wins in its last 26 games outside of their home field plus they have also lost seven times in a row to the Top 25 teams and two of those to the Missouri Tigers.

Can the Missouri Tigers rise up and be back on their feet or will Kansas State Wildcats add another loss and misery to the Tigers? Watch this NCAA football game because it is one game worth really watching.
