What a flipping idiot son of a bitch!! In part three, Doc ends up in the year 1885, not 1855!!! Hence the joke about the school teacher that fell into Shonash Ravine “100 years ago”!! This is accurate seeing as Marty is from 1985. No time in the year 2010 is ever shown, period.

The whole thing is this- When the Libians shoot Doc, Marty goes back to November 5, 1955. In Back to the future 2, when the guy tells Marty to save the clock tower, he mentions it was 60 years earlier from that date, which would have made it 2015. However, it does for some reason say in the DeLorean that the date they were just in was October 26th, 2015. Either way it’s still 2015

Christ wasn’t born on Dec 25th thats just a made up date to suit the calendar well
its was more around the fall season

Actually, at the beginning of the first film, Doc does mention to Marty that he plans to go 25 years into the future to see the progress of mankind and 25 years from 1985 is 2010, but Doc doesn’t say the exact date. He ends up getting shot and Marty goes to 1955. They then change to 30 years in the future which is 2015.

It is his intention to go “25 years into the future” (on Oct 26th 1985) but as you well know he is not able to travel through time at this point as he is chased down and caught by the Lybians before he manages to key this date in. By this point he has only input 4 dates to the time circuits;
- 1 minute into the future, to send his dog through time.
- July 4, 1776 – Declaration of Independence
- December 25, 0000
- November 5, 1955 – the date when he discovered the Flux Capacitor, and where marty ends up.

OMG! I’m too late to know this news… I wasn’t online that day. I’m an avid BTTF fan!
