Is Lindsay Lohan’s DUI Sentence Fair or Unfair?

Not everyone is as shocked and appalled as Linday Lohan was when Judge Marsha Revel handed down her sentence for the actress’ DUI and reckless driving charges that go way back to 2007.

Soon enough pictures of Lindsay’s tear-drenched face was plastered all over websites and gossip pages. She did get 90 days in jail and another 90 days of “forced” in-patient rehab after she was found guilty of violating the terms of her parole, so the water-works is quite understandable.

What I don’t understand is why is Lindsay herself shocked and surprised? She is aware of the terms of her parole and what actions would constitute a violation isn’t she? Or is she really so “out of it” that she thinks her celebrity status makes her above the law? After all it’s been 3 years and the most she got was an SCRAM bracelet.

But that’s probably the thing, she needs a sterner punishment than just having to wear a simple SCRAM bracelet. At least in the next 180 days she will be sober and won’t be driving. Maybe she can even start to straighten out her life during those 180 sober days.

Two thumbs-up Judge Revel.
