Heavy Rains And Floods Killed 15 People In Southern China – Heavy rains have worsened floods to some regions of Southern China. At least 15 people were killed and forcing more than 100,000 people to evacuate their homes.
Over the past two months, torrential rains have battered many of China’s southern provinces and triggered floods and landslides that have killed almost 400 people this year cause losses around 10 billion US dollars.
All train services in Jiangsu, Fujian provinces, and Chongqing were suspended on Friday due to floods. Torrential rains also hit China’s central Hunan and Hubei province, damaging road networks and power supplies.
