23 year old Adam Wheeler has faked all his academic credentials in order for him to be accepted in Harvard in 2007. He was a young resident of Milton, Delaware, and is currently facing 20 counts of theft, identity fraud and other charges. He was accused last Tuesday and paid the bail of $5,000 and pleaded not guilty.
His fake credentials includes obtaining a perfect score on the SAT, the highest grades in the Phillips Andover Academy and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He never attended any of these institutions, said Gerry Leone’s attorney general. Aside from these fake things, Prosecutor John Vener said in court that in while Wheeler is in Hravard he stole $ 45,000 in financial aid, scholarships and awards funds.
“The actions of this defendant swipe at those who competed honestly admissions and scholarships that this defendant fraudulently obtained,” he added. He has been studying English language and would have graduated from Harvard this spring. He is trying to go to Yale and Brown after being discovered at Harvard.
The defendant was a student at Bowdoin College in Maine from 2005 to 2007 but was suspended for academic dishonesty, according to authorities.
