GAME UPDATE: We are now in halftime and both teams have not scored any touchdowns or field goal yet. The first touchdown was scored by Hampton with 37 seconds remaining in the Third Quarter courtesy of a 1 yard from David Legree rush. The extra point was missed by Rodrigo.
Delaware State seems to be aware that the tempo of the game had changed and as the fourth quarter starts they immediately scored a touchdown to take the lead 7-6.
Hampton however, would not let their winning streak be worn out by a loosing Delaware State. After the first touchdown of Delaware State, Hampton scored two successive touchdowns and take a major lead against Delaware State 20-7 with just about seven minutes remaining in the game.
Delaware did score another touchdown but it was too late in the game. The final score was 20-14 and Hampton is now 3-1.
