It’s Good Friday and Christians are observing the Lenten Season’s most mournful day – Good Friday. This day, we remember Jesus Christ’s death day and the exact time should be at 3pm. On this day, Catholic churches don’t held masses.
Also, the crucifix on every Catholic church is covered by cloth. This is to symbolically mourn the death of Christ. Not to worry though, as the saviour shall rise on Sunday, and that is where we celebrate Easter Sunday!
Here are some recommended readings and Good Friday Bible verses for people who observe the Lenten season.
“If, then, your eye is simple, your whole body will be bright;”
Naked I came from my mother’s womb, naked I’ll return to the womb of the earth.God gives, God takes. God’s name be ever blessed.
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
What good would it do to get everything you want and lose you, the real you? What could you ever trade your soul for?
