The promising golf player, Erica Blasberg was found dead Sunday, May 10 in Nevada, USA. It has been reported by Huffington Post that the cause of her death in still unknown and a foul play lead has been considered. Her agent, Chase Callahan, confirmed her death but declined to give a comment about the cause of her death. Investigation has already been started according to the Associated Press.
A spokeswoman for the Clark County Coroner’s Office told Golf Digest, “That investigation is still pending so we have no cause of death to report at this time.” Mel Blasberg, Erica’s father was quoted saying, “At first glance it looks like she might have taken her own life, but at second glance, something is very, very strange about it. We’re waiting for the police to make an investigation.”
In year 2006, she has been considered as one of the most photogenic players in the LPGA. She played her only LPGA Tour in Mexico two weeks ago and tied in the 44th position.
