A gold fish is usually small. But have you heard of a giant gold fish? Apparently, a picture of a giant gold fish has become viral in the internet. The said giant gold fish is a giant 30-pound Koi Carp which was caught by Raphael Biagini in the South of France several months ago as shown in the photo below:

What do you think about the giant gold fish photo above? Is it true or just another wonderful product of Photoshop? Currently, the largest gold fish on record measures 16 inches (41 cm) and weighs 5 pounds (2.3 kg). It was caught in a pond in Poole, England in July of this year.

    1. It can be 100% true… Its NOT a Goldfish, but a Koi Carp… Bath are different fishes, same color, but different…
The previous approuved record of Koi Carp fished in France was 12,7 kg… This one is 13kg (30lbs)… So there is nothing to think this is a fake…
The relative size of fish compared to the fisherman is increased by the magnifying effect of the wide-angle lens use here. That is giving the impression that the fish is larger than it is actually. It’s the only faking of this picture.

  1. Hmm – Good post! These days i would like to remember decade ago. 9/11 – where had you been in the event it happened? I was in the office, along with a co-worker came rushing in and told what went down… I couldn’t trust it and we all encountered the conference room and gathered round the TV and watched news for hours on end prior to the late evening. Little else was in news reports for weeks thereafter. Let’s just hope this never happens again.
