Everyone has been so happy with the latest news from Dunkin Donuts when it has announced its free iced coffee day. This is in line with their celebration of their 60th year anniversary. They would be giving away free iced coffee to millions of its clients as a thank you for their success being one of the pioneers in the donut making industry.
However, the promo is not true all branches of Dunkin Donuts. A lot has been complaining about it because it is so unfair. The free iced coffee is only available in its special 13 branches. Namely, in Washington, D.C., and cities in five states: Arizona (Phoenix), Maryland (Baltimore, Salisbury), Ohio (Cleveland, Youngstown), Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, Pittsburgh), and Virginia (Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Norfolk, Richmond, and Roanoke). Branches in New York City are also offering their own promotion from 4 to 10 p.m. only.
A lot of people became so angry after hearing the mentioned news. Customers from Maine to North Carolina were posting messages on Dunkin’s Facebook page complaining about the lack of free coffee in their town.
A spokesperson from Dunkin Donuts answered the issue via email that: “As part of our 60th birthday celebration, Dunkin’ Donuts is offering a variety of regional promotions throughout the year rather than a national Free Iced Coffee Day.”
