A taste of Irish is what the Dublin Irish Festival can offer to Ohioans and guests from out of town. This weekend, it all happens in Dublin, Ohio as locals and tourists need not travel across continents for that authentic Irish experience. The annual event that is now on its 23rd year officially starts at 4 p.m. on Friday and will run through Sunday, August 8th.
Men clad in skirts playing bagpipes are just some of the common sights at the three-day festival. Irish performers are slated to perform in this event that features seven stages and more than 60 acts including Irish band Solas, fiddler Natalie MacMaster and rock band Gaelic Storm.
Irish culture is rich in music and dancing, which makes this annual event something to look forward to. Other features such as an Irish food fair, shops, games and drinking make the Dublin Irish Festival an attractive event for families and friends.
