Donald Trump Announced Not To Run for Presidency Anymore

(United States) Donald Trump, the real estate mogul, surprised the American public when he announced Monday that he’s no longer interested to run for presidency come US Presidential Elections scheduled to happen on November 6, 2012.

Donald Trump claimed that his true passion is business and he prefers to remain in the private sector. In an statement released by CNN, Donald Trump said:

“After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the presidency. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector. This decision does not come easily or without regret; especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country”

Perhaps this decision came after when NBC announced that they will be renewing Trump’s reality TV show, “Celebrity Apprentice” for another season.

In the previous months before his announcement, it was reported that Trump was so vocal about the issue of whether President Barack Obama was born in the US. He asked Obama to diclose information about his birth certificate, primarily to obtain a proof as to whether or not he was a natural US born citizen. This prompted the White House to release an official birth certificate of Obama confirming that he was indeed a natural born US citizen after having been born in the State of Hawaii.
