North Texas vs Florida Atlantic: NCAA College Football 2010 Week 4

North Texas vs Florida Atlantic: NCAA College Football 2010 Week 4 – Florida Atlantic is a solid favorite in this game against North Texas. Simulation games and various considerations taken gave Florida Atlantic at least 72% chance to beat North Texas based on the analysis of ACCU Score.

FLorida Atlantic won the first game of the season at UAB but later on bowed to a defeat against Michigan State in a close football match. FLorida Atlantic currently holds a 1-1 record on the year. Their opponent, North Texas is currently on a 3-game loosing streak. Experts suggest that this will not be any different from their previous games and will end up in another lost for North Texas, however the players are optimistic that they can win this one.

The main cause of the current bad games of North Texas was their injured prone line-up. Starting quarterback Derek Thompson and his backup Nathan Tune have both been diagnosed with season ending injuries, leaving the door open for redshirt-sophomore Riley Dodge.

“It’s not a team to look past them,” senior quarterback Jeff Van Camp said of North Texas. “They got a lot to play for, they think there season is just getting started with the conference, they’ve lost their first three games, but we know they’re going to be hungry.”

This is indeed another exciting game because always remember that the winner is not decided before the game but after the dust had settled in the football field. So take your pick… who will win this game?

Lindsay Lohan Gets Out on $300,000 Bail

Lindsay Lohan is once again free as a bird. The price of her freedom came at a hefty $300,000, but I’m sure she would rather shell out even her bottom dollar instead of spending more time locked up.

So, late Friday night she was once again whisked away from her “home away from home”, that is the Century Regional Correctional Facility, to the disappointment of the paparazzi thronged outside.

Judge Elden Fox did keep his word to order the incarceration of Lohan without bail. However, his ruling was overturned by Judge Patricia Schnegg, assistant supervising judge for the Los Angeles Criminal Courts, who reviewed, considered and stamped her approval on Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley’s writ of habeas corpus filed on Friday evening.

Schnegg overturned the earlier ruling of Judge Fox and set the amount after Lohan’s attorney had argued that it was unlawful for the actress to be remanded without bail for 30 days while awaiting her Oct. 22 probation hearing.

Judge Patricia Schnegg, however, set a few rules for Lohan to follow: She will be required to report back to authorities within 24 hours to be fitted for yet another SCRAM bracelet and she is to “stay out of places where [alcoholic beverages] are the chief item of sale.”

Lohan is also not allowed to possess any drugs or socialize with any known drug users, and she must be willing to submit to a law-enforcement search at any time, “with or without a warrant, probably cause or reasonable suspicion

Harvest Moon: Did You Witness the Super Harvest Moon and Jupiter?

Harvest Moon: Did You Wintess the Super Harvest Moon and Jupiter? – Those living in the Northern Hemisphere might have witnessed an autumnal equinox phenomenon known as the Harvest Moon. This year 2010, it was a “Super Harvest Moon” or as what astronomers say “Harvestest Moon” since the sun set as the moon rose.

This was the first time in two decades that a Super Harvest Moon occurred in the sky. The autumnal equinox phenomenon created a strange 360-degree twilight show as the moon rose in one direction while the sun set on the opposite direction.

September 22 was also known as the autumnal equinox in the Northern Hemisphere. The Harvest Moon appeared as orange moon and its size was gigantic due to a psychological effect known as the “Moon illusion”. The Harvest Moon got its name from agriculture. In the days before electric lights, farmers depended on bright moonlight to extend the workday beyond sunset. It was the only way they could gather their ripening crops in time for market. The full Moon closest to the autumnal equinox became “the Harvest Moon,” and it was always a welcome sight.

Aside from the Harvest Moon, there was also a bonus phenomenon as the summer officially when Jupiter appeared right next to the Moon. Were you able to see Jupiter and the Harvest Moon?
