Christina Aguilera’s rendition of Ameirca’s National Anthem has been buzzing around the social networking sites lately as she delivered it with wrong lyrics at the opening ceremony of the recently concluded Super Bowl XLV. There has been a lot of uploaded videos in the video sharing site Youtube. She also got a lot of critics from fellow Americans especially from those most patriotic one. It is part of being a true-blooded American to know the accurate lyrics of The Star Spangled Banner. it is not cleared yet if Aguilera committed a plain mistake or she intently changed the lyrics.

Here is the first two paragraphs of The Star Spangled Banner with Aguilera’s wrongly sang part:

Oh, say! can you see by the dawn’s early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming;
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,

O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
Aguillera’s “What so proudly we watched at the twilight’s last gleaming”
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there:
Oh, say! does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

Here is also a Youtube video uploaded by 8isanumber of the said incident:
