Just overnight, Chicago was filled with heavy rain downpours that resulted to a troublesome flash floods in some areas of Chicago. Heavy storm is responsible of the flooded basements, canceled flights, closures of expressway. The Department of Transportation of Chicago closed some roads like the Eisenhower Expressway East and Westbound to to overflowing volume of water in the streets. The area along the west suburb of Westchester appears to have the most devastating effect of the flodding.
Power sources of around Fifty Thousand homes and businesses are suspended in the meantime until the storm hits calm. The ComEd has been acting fast with 180 people deployed on the area to work on the clogs and to control water flow.
