Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies officially announced

September 30, 2010 by · 14 Comments

The beloved Nazi zombies are returning to Call of Duty. Yes, everyones favorite Zombies will make a comeback as Josh Olin, Treyarch’s Community Mananger confirmed that officially.

The Nazi Zombies content will be part of the pecial editions of Treyarch’s next game, Call of Duty: Black Ops. Olin stated in his twitter that ardened and Prestige editions of Black Ops will include all four of the existing maps in World at War. No word was mentioned whether those who purchase the standard edition of the game would be able to acquire this content via paid DLC.

The new game, Call of Duty: Black Ops is scheduled for a worldwide release on November 9, 2010. This version of Call of Duty is also priced higher than the regular one, so the fact is you actually pay for the zombie content.

The Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies are also part of the full content of
Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies eveloped by Ideaworks Game Studio, and published by Activision for iOS. This title is a spin-off of the Call of Duty series, and based on the “Nazi Zombies” mode of Call of Duty: World at War.

What do you think of the zombies? Would you be buying Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies? Why yes or why not?

If there is one definite thing that is whether you like it or not the zombies are definitely back in Call of Duty!

i would like to have a new zombie mode buut im not paying damn near a 100 dollars for it. ill just play the orignal world at war

i think this is only saying that additional maps from WaW zombies are going to be acquired by the special editions as well as possible DLC. Zombies will not need to be purchased directly from special editions, it will already be on the game, just not with the extra maps. well, good to know zombies is back ^^

  2. G-money says:

im definitly getting Black Ops either way, ive become a big fan of Call of Duty because of the Zombies, from there i branched out and i play the regular Multiplayer now too on Both World at War, and Modern Warfare 2, so regardless, im getting Black Ops and anything to do with the Zombies

  3. Anthony says:

  4. tyler says:

It’s awsome that there putting Zombies back in but will there be new maps or are they just puting them in for the people who are wanting them?

  5. Gdubb says:

If it contains the same maps as before why spend the extra just go back and play it on world of war

  6. afan says:

actually i want all the old maps on here because i want to trade in or sell world at war. so it will work for me.
theres no point keeping world at war if the zombies maps are going to be on black ops.

and within a month or two they will have new maps anyway.

  7. Joe says:

I think its highly unlikely that some kind of zombie mode wont be included. It was so popular on WaW and it even still is now.

  8. paul maclane says:

as long as the zombies are back, I’m willing to pay for it!

  9. adam says:
