Activision Blizzard Inc. takes first-person-shooter gaming to the next level as it sets to release a 3-D version of ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’ in November. The high definition video game franchise became widely popular for its realistic combat feel. It takes an even more realistic approach as gamers get to experience shooting and being shot in 3-D.
It was announced on Tuesday that ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’ would be released in 3-D on November 9. Options for gamers would be in Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. The game is basically the same in 2-D and 3-D without any special additions to the 3-D version.
The seventh installment of the popular video game takes the player back into the Cold War Era. Online multiplayer and ‘zombie’ modes are also available in this edition.
For maximum gaming pleasure, users would need a 3-D TV set and glasses.
