British Open 2010 Golf Tournament: Round 3 Results and Leaderboard Update – The British Open Golf Tournament is currently on its Round 3 at the Old Course at St. Andrews. It is the oldest of the four major championships in professional golf.
As of this writing, Louis Oosthuizen is leading with Paul Casey in the second place. Among the golfers to watch out for are 2010 Masters Golf Tournament winner Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy who have just set a new record for best opening round of an Open Championship, shooting a 9-under-par 63 at St Andrews last July 15, and of course the world’s greatest golfer Tiger Woods.
For the record, Tiger Woods has won the British Open Championship thrice – in years 2000, 2005, and 2006. This year’s British Open Golf Tournament winner will receive a cash prize amounting to £850,000, a £100,000 increase from last year’s prize which was got by Stewart Cink.
