Bob Arum’s Son Found Dead
John Arum, a Seattle-based environmental lawyer and outdoorsman has been missing for almost a week. The 49-year old son of popular boxing promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank has was last seen hiking in a national park in Washington state and was reported missing last week was found after a five-day search late Friday.
John Arum died of a climbing accident at the North Cascades National Park in Washington state. His body was found by a search helicopter at the 7,700-foot level of Storm King Mountain.
Searchers have confirmed that John Arum is dead but the terrain and weather have made it very difficult for rescuers to recover his body.
John Arum served on the board of the Washington Environmental Council.
