Just in time for the release of the DVD and Blu-ray copy of the 3D Sci-Fi epic Avatar, James Cameron talked about one of the most anticipated sequel that is yet to come. This time, on the depths of the ocean.
Cameron’s obssession about aquatic life is coming near. Part of his focus in the second film is in creating a different environment – a different setting within Pandora.
Cameron said, “I’m going to be focusing on the ocean on Pandora, which will be equally rich and diverse and crazy and imaginative, but it just won’t be a rain forest. I’m not saying we won’t see what we’ve already seen; we’ll see more of that as well.”
So what could be there in Pandora’s underwater? With Cameron’s enthusiasm for the deep sea waters, it’s going to be very interesting to see how we would come up to such strange and amazing inhabitants for an ocean adventure with the Na’vi.
While Avatar, costs millions of dollars and took years to produced, Cameron said to trim down the cost of the sequel and even reduce half the time they spent on the making of the movie.
In addition, Cameron also confirmed the re-release of the first film with an additional six minutes.
