Jack Bauer has been a part of every home that has a television set. His life has been on track every hour for 24 hours. It has been the 8th 24 hours of his life and sad to say there would be no more 9th. You heard it right, the TV series 24 will end on the 8th season. It was confirmed by Fox March 26.
Keifer Sutherland the actor behind ‘Jack Bauer’ and executive producer Howard Gordon has already called it quits. Sutherland strongly agrees that a lot has been demanding to the have a movie version of the series and instead of having the 9th, it would be the best direction to go.
The movie is already on the making under 20th Century Fox. The screenplay behind it is Billy Ray (State of Play). “In a two-hour (movie) representation of the 24 world, planes, trains, and automobiles all of a sudden become a factor because you are not required to go scene by scene in real time. That’s something I can say I am very excited about”, Sutherland said.
The final season on the other hand, a happy to tragic ending has been considered for Jack Bauer in a very definitive ans complex place as what Gordon said.
